At Xing Academy Robotics, we are dedicated to providing the most enjoyable STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) learning experiences for our children.
We believe robotics is one the best vessel for fostering critical real-world skills (teamwork, communications, and creativity) that transcend technological and AI (artificial intelligence) advancements. We are passionate in developing this curiosity and love for STEM starting with our youngest learners to seasoned builders who are looking to advance their knowledge and imagination. Our program introduces and integrates robotics, coding, AI, and 3D model/printing to our youngest learners.
Our Story is simple and Our Mission is clear.
We created Xing Academy Robotics from the community of parents that are passionate about the future of our kids, the world they are entering, and the love for engineering and creative thinking. Our mission is to provide the most joyful STEM experience to our children, starting with the youngest learners.

Jimmy Pham, is a builder that loves to create fun and novel things integrating hardware and software. From Scratch game programming, robotics, AI, to 3D models and printing, Jimmy enjoys developing integrated STEM projects for his young twins and is passionate to showing our children the wonder and possibilities with robotics and AI. He is a Senior Executive and Technologist delivering leading edge AI powered software solutions. He holds a B.S.E in Computer Engineering from University of Pennsylvania and is a SASE (Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers) Information Technologist of the Year Winner.

Dr. Eric Cheng, is a father of two elementary aged boys and enjoys playing chess and working on STEM projects with them. He is Space Sensor Lead Engineer at Johns Hopkins APL (Applied Physics Lab), holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. From MIT innovations to NASA robotic missions, he brings nearly two decades of experience to the classroom. Eric is dedicated to inspiring the next generation through fun, creative STEM and robotics education.

We strongly believe in introducing fun but also real integrated (robotics, AI, coding, and 3D printing) projects even to our youngest learners. Being resourceful and having hands-on creation using all these technologies will unlock our kids imagination.
We tailor lessons to highlight and apply what our kids are learning in school. Specifically how math is used and themed science and environmental topics.
Our programs are not tailored for just formal competitions. While we love the experience that robotic competitions provide the kids, our focus is on providing ALL our students with opportunities to participate in joyful, engaging, and friendly team challenges. Throughout the year, we have lessons that foster that friendly competition. We want to build the joy and confidence early.
Check out this detailed walkthrough of a sample engaging Lego robotics lesson that integrates simple AI even that our early learners are able to follow along, understand, and enjoy!

This is our beginners robotics class for K-3rd. We are using Lego WeDo 2.0 or similar kit. The goal for this early robotics course is to expand our kids imagination, build confidence and teamwork, and learn basic AI integrations.
