A Teacher's Passion, A Parent's Mission

Xing Academy was born from founder Xingxing Song's search for an immersive and effective language program for her own children. Unable to find a school that met her needs, Xingxing was inspired to create her own. She set out to build the academy she had been searching for: one that provides a world-class, joyful, and inspiring language education. Ms. Song's vision is built on a strong foundation, including over a decade of experience teaching Chinese, a Master of Education from the University of Maryland, an MBA from Peking University, and advanced teaching licenses in DC and Maryland. Today, that expertise shapes Xing Academy's mission to not only teach language but also help children explore our multicultural world, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Xing Academy 星趣中文  embodies our educational philosophy and core values, carrying a vision that is both meaningful and inspiring.

• “星” (Star) represents each child’s unique talent and brilliance. It symbolizes how, through learning Chinese, they connect with Chinese culture, broaden their international horizons, and grow into shining stars on the world stage.

• “趣” (Joy) represents the interest and motivation of learning. We aim to inspire children’s curiosity through engaging lessons and activities, learning in a fun atmosphere and develop a lasting love for language and culture.
