At Xing Academy, we believe language learning is far more than mastering words & grammar
it is about discovering new ways of thinking, connecting with diverse cultures, and building confidence to communicate in a global community. Founded by certified teachers with over a decade of experience, our mission is to ignite every learner’s curiosity and help them achieve linguistic excellence through joyful, meaningful, and culturally rich learning experiences.
Our role is to guide them to explore, create, and connect — to not only learn a language, but to truly live it.
Culture is at the heart of everything we teach. Learners explore traditions, art, music, and celebrations through hands-on activities and projects that connect language to real life.

Xing Academy’s curriculum is aligned with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) World-Readiness Standards, focusing on the Five Cs:
Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, Communities
This ensures our instruction meets international benchmarks for quality and proficiency.

Our language learning curriculum is thoughtfully scaffolded following Bloom’s Taxonomy — guiding students from remembering and understanding vocabulary to applying, analyzing & evaluating, and creating with the language.
This ensures students' progress from lower-order skills (remembering) to higher-order skills (creating) encouraging deeper learning.

For young learners, We follow the Whole Child Approach, integrating language learning with other disciplines such as art, music, science, and social studies.
This cross-disciplinary method allows students to use language in meaningful, real-world contexts while exploring creativity and culture.

We emphasize Task-Based Learning (TBL) — where language is learned through purposeful, real-world tasks. Instead of passive drills, students engage in authentic projects such as:
Through these meaningful tasks, learners naturally develop communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural confidence.

We believe the goal of learning a language is to use it in real life. That’s why our teaching philosophy is centered on Communication.
We don't choose one over the other. We blend them, using a variety of communicative activities (CLT) while also periodically building units around a larger, engaging task (TBLT). In both approaches, the focus has shifted from rote memorization to authentic language use.

ACTFL alignment ensures our instruction meets international benchmarks for quality and proficiency. Focusing on the Five Cs:

We nurture each Child’s intellectual, emotional, and social growth, ensuring that learning is joyful, balanced, and developmentally appropriate. By teaching the whole child, we help students not only gain language proficiency but also connect knowledge, culture, and self-expression.
