Xingxing is the founder of Xing Academy and a former Chinese language teacher in the DC public school system. She holds a Master of Education from the University of Maryland and possesses advanced teaching licenses in world languages (PreK-12th) for both DC and Maryland. With over 10 years of experience, she has taught Chinese language and culture to children ages four to twelve in various settings.
Before moving to the USA, she served as a Center Director for an adult English training company in China, where she also trained employees at a Fortune 500 company for many years.
Becoming a parent enhanced Xingxing's understanding of the need for high-quality language education for children. In the past two years, she found it challenging to locate a good quality language school for her own children and others. This inspired her to start Xing Academy, aiming to develop classes and camps that help children explore the multicultural world through second language learning.
Xingxing lives in Potomac with her husband Jimmy and their twins, Jack and Coco.
