教材选取上,现阶段整合所有国内编撰的中文分级阅读和国内人教版小学语文教材,启蒙阶段以一亩宝盒,洪恩分级阅读子集为主要学习资源,小羊上山和迪斯尼为辅助资源,中高级引入国内人教版语文教材,根据学生具体情况节选章节。
1-2年后,争取采用自编教材教学。
For the selection of teaching materials, we currently integrate all domestically developed Chinese leveled reading resources and the People's Education Press (PEP) Chinese textbooks used in elementary schools in China. At the introductory stage, the main learning resources include Yi Mu Bao He and Hong En Leveled Reading Subsets, with Little Lamb Climbing the Hill and Disney as supplementary resources. For intermediate and advanced levels, we introduce selected chapters from the PEP Chinese textbooks based on the specific needs of the students.
In 1-2 years, we aim to transition using self-developed teaching materials.

适龄拼音课:5岁不教拼音,学习完英文自然拼读后才开始学习

- Leveled Reading: The first Chinese language training institution in the Greater Washington area to implement a leveled reading system.
- Small Class Sizes: Classes of 4-6 students for personalized attention.
- Engaging Character Learning: Students learn Chinese characters through dynamic activities such as animated videos, character illustrations, original character stories, sentence-building games, storytelling, and character card games.
- Scientific Class Placement: Class placement is determined by a combination of language proficiency and age.
- Reading Club: Activities such as reading clubs and storytelling are held regularly. (Currently preparing a Chinese small library.)
- Cultural Activities: Regular cultural festivals, family events, school sports days, and other parent-child activities.
- Oral Expression Methodology: Incorporating activities such as shadow puppetry and puppet shows to inspire storytelling and oral language expression.
- Age-Appropriate Pinyin Instruction: Pinyin is not taught at the age of 5; students begin learning pinyin only after mastering English phonics.
